Tsurumi Submersibles

TSURUMI B-series submersible pumps are used primarily in municipal water supply stations and sewage treatment plants for pumping water, sewage, and digested sludge. In industry these pumps are efficient for controlling cooling water, process and waste water, and abrasive or corrosive media.   The pumps are also used at many construction sites and large factories for continuous drainage, in a sump or in a dry pit. The B-series pumps can be installed in small, simple pump stations under the ground or the floor, completely out of traffic.   The pumps can be mounted on a guide rail in a sump for easy installation and removal.   FEATURES A - Cable Sealing (Unique Sealing Device) Waterproof power cords prevent water infiltration: cable ends sealed with epoxy resin and lead wires partially stripped for perfect resin sealing - triple protection for the motor against water penetration.   B - Motor Protection Safety device protects the motor from overheating of its winding caused by motor or pump malfunction.   C - Motor Dry-type E,B, or F insulation class motor has high torque and load with enough power to drive powerfully and efficiently.

D - Water Jacket

The perfect motor cooling is provided by a water jacket circulating drainage for the models of 22 kW and over, and for dry-pit models.

 

E - Shaft Sealing Device

The mechanical shaft-seal has rigid, heat and corrosive-resistant silicon-carbide faces, superior to tungsten carbide in anti-corrosion and anti-abrasion, guarantees longer pump life.

F - Impeller

Provides a wide passage for large size foreign material. Can be replaced with a cutter-impeller in the models with an output of 11 kW or under.
